Getting your data in

Strip Logs draws a drillhole’s log from your drillhole database: lithology, structure and assays in columns on one depth scale, with the significant intercepts and a printable PDF. Load the export workbook (one sheet per database view), or look at the Demo.

The top of the page with Demo / Upload, the load line, the tabs and Help outlined

  1. Demo / Upload: Demo loads ten holes of masked Project J data. Upload takes your own export workbook (.xlsx); its sheets are recognised by their columns, whatever they are called.
  2. The load line: Under the header: the workbook loaded, what it holds, and the Data health counts (to fix, to check, for information). Click it for the Data health tab.
  3. The tabs: Log draws one hole at a time. Data health lists what the import found in your data. Data shows any sheet. Feedback sends a message to the developer. About says who makes the app, and has the privacy notice and terms.
  4. Help any time: This Help, and the ? beside each area, explain every part. Each tab has a short tour, which starts by itself the first time and can be taken again from any help window.
