Roadmap

What Geoscience Analytics is working on now, what comes next, and what we will keep the same for the people who rely on it.

There are no dates: we would rather tell you when something is ready than promise a date and miss it. Plans change with what users tell us, so tell us what matters to you: [email protected].

Now

  • QC Analytical Results API (pilot). On two servers, in London and Frankfurt. Your own software sends QC results and gets back the data for the app’s 18 charts: points, control limits, flags and statistics. See Pricing and the API guide.
  • Structural Analysis. Stereonets and orientation statistics from oriented core and field mapping, getting ready for release.
  • Drillhole Analysis. Strip logs, intercepts and drillhole maps from your assays and logging, getting ready for release.
  • Saved projects in every app. Keep your data between visits in Structural Analysis and Drillhole Analysis, as QC Analytical Results already does.

Next

  • Batch verdict. Choose one despatch and QC Analytical Results says whether to accept it, query it with the laboratory, or reject it, with the reasons: its CRMs, blanks and duplicates checked against your rules.
  • Español. The apps in Spanish as well as English, chosen from the header, with QA/QC terms reviewed by Colombian geologists.
  • More automatic checks. Problems in your QC data flagged for you, including ones that are easy to miss by eye.
  • One project across the apps. The same project in QC Analytical Results, Drillhole Analysis and Structural Analysis, so each can use what the others know.
  • More ways in and out. Reading more laboratory and database export formats, and exporting QC data in the formats state geological surveys ask for.

Later

  • Plain-English explanations (optional). An “Explain this” button on the Overview and the charts, and questions answered in plain English with the app’s own figures and a link to the chart. Built with Anthropic’s Claude; off unless you turn it on, and nothing is sent unless you ask.
  • QC quality carried into resource work. The quality of each batch of assays available alongside the drillhole data, for the people who judge confidence in a resource.
  • Company accounts. Projects shared within your company, with one bill.

Recently released

  • QC Analytical Results 2.1.1. Laboratory turnaround on the Overview: working days from despatch to results for each batch, judged against each laboratory’s own history, with a chart. Change points on the Shewhart and CUSUM charts (also in the API, version 1.1), and Using the app under About. See What’s new.
  • QC Analytical Results 2.0. Lab Health on the Overview, the Data health report on upload, saved projects, and one sign-in for every app. See What’s new.

What we keep the same

People build their QC routines and their software around these tools, so some things do not change without warning:

  • Your data stays yours. You can export a saved project, or everything you have saved, at any time, and delete it when you choose.
  • Notice before things are taken away. We give at least 90 days’ notice by email before removing a feature you can see, or before something free becomes paid.
  • The API stays stable. Version 1 keeps its names and shapes. If a version 2 is ever needed, version 1 keeps working for at least 12 months after it arrives.
  • If the service ever closes, account holders get at least 6 months’ notice and a full export of their data.
