The Filters

The Filters choose the data for the Charts, Data and Statistics tabs. The Overview covers all the data, so they’re greyed out there.

Precision

The Filters for Precision, each numbered

  1. QC type: What to look at: Precision (duplicates), Accuracy (CRMs) or Contamination (blanks). The filters below change to suit it.
  2. Select Sheet: For a workbook with several sheets, the sheet to use. Choosing a QC type picks a sheet that fits; greyed out for the demo data and CSV files.
  3. Select by: Choose the data by a date range, or by despatch number (up to 20 despatches).
  4. Date to use for data extraction: Which date the range applies to: when the samples were sent (Despatch send) or when the results came back (Laboratory return).
  5. Date range: From and to. It starts on the latest 12 months of the laboratory’s data.
  6. Laboratory: The laboratory whose results are charted.
  7. Analysis Suite: The laboratory’s method (analysis suite), so results from different methods aren’t mixed.
  8. Analyte: The element and its units, e.g. Cu_ME-ICP41_ppm.
  9. Sample check stage: The stage the duplicate was taken at: field, crushing, pulverising and so on. Each stage has its own precision limit.
