Sign in to use your own data

How do I sign in to QC Analytical Results? Create a free Geoscience Analytics Toolkit account, sign in, and upload your own file.

At the end you are signed in, and Upload, Projects and Lab files work with your own data.

The demo needs no account. Your own data does, because the app keeps your Overview rules, your projects and your Lab files set-up with your account. One Geoscience Analytics Toolkit account signs you in to every Geoscience Analytics app.

Steps

  1. In the header, select Sign in. The Toolkit sign-in page opens.
  2. If you have no account yet, select Create an account and fill in the form. The Toolkit emails you a code to confirm your address. Your account is then approved by us, usually the same day, and you get an email when it is ready.
  3. Enter your email and password and select Sign in. The app opens again with Signed in as and your name in the header.
  4. In the header, select Upload, then choose your Excel workbook or CSV file under Upload file. The file can be up to 50 MB. The Data tab’s Data health lists anything the app found odd in it.

The header with the Sign in pill, Help, What's new and the Demo / Upload switch numbered

  1. Sign in: opens the Toolkit sign-in page. Once signed in it reads Signed in as and your name.
  2. Help: the help for the tab you are on.
  3. Demo / Upload: the data source. Signed in, Projects appears beside them.

Result

The header shows Signed in as and your name. Your file’s results replace the demo on every tab, and the Overview judges your laboratories.

If something goes wrong

  • Sign in sends you to the Toolkit home page, not back to the app. Open the app again from the Toolkit’s QC Analytical Results tile. You are still signed in.
  • Upload says you need to sign in, although you did. Your account does not include QC Analytical Results yet. Email [email protected] and we add it.
  • The file is refused. The file is over 50 MB, or it is not an Excel workbook or a CSV. Split a large export by date.
