Open accepted certificates on the other tabs
At the end the accepted certificates’ CRMs, blanks and duplicates are charted and judged like any other results in the project.
An accepted certificate’s results join the project. The lab’s own standards, blanks and duplicates, and the QC samples you named, become QC results. Ordinary samples are not charted. A returned certificate stays in the project with its results left out.
Your uploaded data can hold the same certificate once it is in your database. Then the app uses the uploaded rows and leaves out the certificate’s own copy, so no result counts twice. It counts a certificate as already in your data when its certificate number is in the LABJOBNO column. Some databases, Pandora among them, number their own returns instead. So it also counts one when its despatch number is in the DESPATCHNO column and one of its samples is there for the same element. Data health on the Overview says which certificates, and how many results were left out.
Before you begin
- Signed in, with at least one certificate accepted in a project.
Steps
- In the header, select Projects. The list of your projects opens.
- Choose the project. If it has prospects, choose one or all of them. The app opens the project, and the Overview judges each laboratory in it.
- Select the Data tab. The rows from the certificates are there with the rest, with the laboratory and despatch you gave when you kept them.
- Select the Charts tab. Under the Filters, choose the laboratory and the QC type, and the chart draws the certificates’ results with the rest.
Result
The Overview, Charts, Data and Statistics tabs include the accepted certificates.
If something goes wrong
- The project opens without the certificate’s results. It is still in the holding area, or it was returned to the lab. Open the Lab files tab, choose the project under Keep them?, and check the holding area.
- Data health says “Certificates also in the uploaded data”. This is a note, not a problem. Those certificates are already in your database export, so the export’s rows are used. If the export lacks part of a certificate, such as the lab’s own duplicates, that part is left out too. Add it to the export, or keep the certificate out of the upload.
- The laboratory appears twice on the Overview. The name you gave under Keep them? differs from the one in your uploads. Use the same spelling each time.
Next steps
- Start with the demo data and reach the Overview explains the Overview on the demo.
