The Filters
The Filters in QC Analytical Results: the Filters choose the results for the Charts, Data and Statistics tabs.
The Filters choose the results for the Charts, Data and Statistics tabs. The Overview checks every laboratory, analyte and date in the file, so they are greyed out there.
Precision

- QC type: Choose what to look at: Precision (duplicates), Accuracy (CRMs) or Contamination (blanks). Precision adds Sample check stage, and Accuracy and Contamination add CRM type and CRM.
- Select Sheet: Picks the sheet to use from a workbook with several sheets. Choosing a QC type picks a sheet that fits. It is greyed out for the demo data and CSV files.
- Select by: Choose the results by a date range or by despatch number. You can pick up to 20 despatches.
- Date to use for data extraction: The date the range applies to. Despatch send is when the samples were sent. Laboratory return is when the results came back.
- Date range: The first and last dates. It opens on the latest 12 months of results. If the laboratory has nothing in that range, it opens on that laboratory’s latest 12 months.
- Laboratory: The laboratory whose results are charted.
- Analysis Suite: The laboratory’s method, or analysis suite. Results from different methods are kept apart. All Suites puts them together.
- Analyte: The element, method and units, for example Cu_MEICP41s_ppm.
- Sample check stage: The stage the duplicate was taken at, such as field, crushing or pulverising. The Overview and RD Rolling Median check each stage against its own limit.
