Print the report or save it as PDF

How do I send a batch check report to the laboratory? Print it, save it as PDF, or download it as HTML or Excel from the Lab files tab.

At the end you have the report as a file to send to the laboratory, or on paper.

The report prints as it is shown. HTML keeps it as a page the lab can open in any browser. Excel puts the findings in a sheet the lab can work through.

Before you begin

  • A certificate in Batch checks with its report open.

Steps

  1. At the top right of the Report card, select Print or save as PDF. Your browser’s print window opens with the report.
  2. For paper, choose your printer and select Print. For a file, choose Save as PDF as the printer and select Save.
  3. For a file the lab can open in a browser, select HTML instead. The file is named Batch check and the certificate number.
  4. For a workbook, select Excel. Its sheets are Batch check, Findings, and one for each table of what was checked.
  5. For every certificate in the list at once, select All as Excel at the top right of Batch checks.

Result

The report is on paper or in a file, with the verdict, every finding and the rules used, ready to send.

If something goes wrong

  • The PDF has the report cut across pages. Set the printer’s scale to fit the page width, or save as HTML and print from there.
