Load your CRM certified values
How does the Lab files tab check standards? Give it your CRMs’ certified values and SDs, from your standards table or the template, so lab standards and your own CRMs are judged.
At the end every standard on a certificate whose values you hold is judged against them, instead of only being listed.
The app can check a standard only against certified values you hold. It takes a standards table exported from your database, or the CRM template filled in. Each row is one element of one standard: the certified value, its SD, or a Low and High where the supplier gives a range instead.
Before you begin
- Your standards table as a CSV or Excel file, or The template (CSV) from the CRM certified values card, filled in. The columns are Standard, Type, Element, Method, Unit, Certified value, SD, Low, High and Supplier.
Steps
- On the Lab files tab, under CRM certified values, select Choose file… and pick the file. The card says how many standards and values it read, and how many values have no SD.
- If some values have no SD and no range, the app lists those standards but cannot judge them. Add the SD or a Low and High to the file and load it again.
- The certificates already loaded are checked again. In the report, Lab standards and Your CRMs now say how many results were checked and how many failed.
- Signed in, select Save them to your CRM library under the card to keep the values in your account. From then on they load by themselves.
Result
The CRM certified values card reads Using
If something goes wrong
- The file needs a column naming the standard. The app looks for a Standard or STANDARDID column, with Element, Unit and a certified value. Use the template’s headings.
- A standard is still listed as not checked. Its name on the certificate differs from the name in your file, or its element is not in your file. The report names the standard. Match the name and load the file again.
- The values loaded, then vanished when a project was chosen. Choosing a project under Keep them? switches to that project’s library. Save the values to your library first.
Next steps
- Save CRM values to your library
- Load your QC sheet, so your own CRMs are found among the samples.
